Screening is an early look at a child's development and begins as early as age three. The state of Minnesota requires screening for every child before kindergarten entry into a public school. ISD 728 offers this service at no cost.
Community Education's EdVenture Club offers a variety of childcare options at schools within Independent School District 728.
Our HOPE program provides events, activities and classes designed specifically for adults with developmental disabilities.

Looking for a home-run introduction to baseball? DASH Sports T-Ball Tykes camp is the perfect first step for young athletes to jump into the game! Players will learn the basics of throwing, catching, batting, and baserunning through fun drills and engaging activities designed just for beginners. The excitement builds all week and wraps up with 'Game Day' on the final day, where campers get to show off their new skills in a real game-style setting. Athletes should bring a water bottle and a baseball glove—we’ll provide the bats and balls! Get ready for big smiles, lots of cheers, and a love for the game.
Parent participation is required for ages 2–3 and encouraged for ages 4+.
DASH Sports is dedicated to the development and training of youth in sports and partners with Community Education to offer a range of programs tailored for children aged 2 to 14. Their overarching goal is to provide communities and families with organized, structured, and enjoyable skill-focused sports initiatives for kids. The leadership of DASH Sports is comprised of individuals who are deeply passionate about youth sports development, boasting an impressive cumulative coaching experience exceeding 20,000 hours.
