Musical Theatre: Willy Wonka Kids | grades 2-4

Step right up and enter the sweet saga of the legendary candy man on a mission to find his sweet successor! Join Charlie Bucket and four lucky golden ticket winners as they navigate the whimsical wonders of Willy Wonka's enigmatic chocolate factory, all brought to life in this dazzling adaptation of Roald Dahl's delightful tale. With enchanting tunes from the 1971 film featuring the fabulous Gene Wilder, plus some scrumptious new songs, Willy Wonka Kids is a musical feast that’ll tickle everyone’s taste buds! Every participant gets a role, a show tee, and 2 free tickets to the high school show on July 17 or 18. Please bring a water bottle and some snacks for a quick energy boost, and wear your comfiest sneakers or closed-toe shoes. Simple base clothing for costumes, such as tan pants or grey sweats, may be requested. Parents, we need volunteer superheroes to help at performances (ushers, tickets, etc.)! Please contact the Community Education office at 763-241-3520 for more information. Auditions: Tuesday, Jul 15, 9am Rehearsals: Tues-Fri, Jul 15-18, 9am-1:30pm Performance Call: Saturday, Jul 19, 12pm; Performance begins at 2pm This class has an early registration deadline of June 23. Note: No refund will be given to any participant who auditions, receives a part, and then withdraws from the production.

GRASP | grades K-3

The 8-week GRASP program helps keep your student's reading/math skills sharp during the summer months. Weekly lessons take about an hour, and students work at their own pace, submitting lesson answer sheets weekly to qualify for end-of-summer rewards. Workbooks, answer sheets, and envelopes will be mailed to students or distributed at their school at the end of the current school year. Please order the grade that corresponds to your student's 2024-2025 (current) grade. You may order a higher or lower grade level if appropriate or recommended by your student's teacher. Returns or exchanges may be limited. Deadline for registration is the end of the day on Thursday, April 24.

GRASP | grades 4-8

The 8-week GRASP program helps keep your student's reading/math skills sharp during the summer months. Weekly lessons take about an hour, and students work at their own pace. Students may choose to work from booklets and answer sheets or use the online program in which lessons are viewed and completed online. Workbooks, answer sheets, and envelopes will be mailed to students or distributed at their school at the end of the current school year (for students choosing this option). Please order the grade that corresponds to your student's 2024-2025 (current) grade. You may order a higher or lower grade level if appropriate or recommended by your student's teacher. Returns or exchanges may be limited. Deadline for registration is the end of the day on Thursday, April 24.

Registration for this delegation fee will cover transportation, shirts, and any other fees associated with attending the Youth in Government Conference. The Delegation Director, Tom Olson, will provide more information if needed.

Rogers Youth Cheerleading Clinic | grades K-7

Pom poms up! Rogers High School Cheerleading is hosting a three-day cheerleading clinic where you will learn how to synchronize your hops, kicks, and claps! At the end of the week, you will have the skills necessary to give a dazzling performance for your friends and family! Students who register at least two weeks in advance are guaranteed a clinic t-shirt. Registration is based on the grade you have just completed.
