​Parent/Tot: Water Acclimation | age 2-4 w/adult
Lessons

Parent/Tot: Water Acclimation teaches swimming readiness skills while building confidence in the water. Children will be introduced to flutter kicks, front and back floats, jumping in, and glides. All skills are done with parent/guardian assistance. Requirements: Child must be at least 2 years old to enroll Parent/guardian must accompany their student at each class Children who are not toilet trained should wear swim diapers Learning objectives: Water entrance/exit by climbing in Front and back flutter kick with support Front and back float with support Front and back glide with support Blow bubbles on the surface Front crawl arms (ice cream scoops) with support Elementary backstroke arms (monkey, airplane, soldier) with support Life Jacket Safety Skills

Open Swim | all ages
Events

Grab your family and friends and head to the pool for some water fun! Play games, practice swim skills, or just splash around. Open swim is lifeguard-supervised for all ages. Children who cannot swim 20 yards MUST be accompanied by an adult in the water. We ask that one adult per three kids under six be in the water as well. All children wearing diapers must have swimming diapers. Groups of 10+, please call ahead: (763) 241-3520. Pay at the door for individual passes: $5/person; $15/family (max 6 w/adult in water). No pre-registration necessary. - Please bring exact change as change for larger bills will not be available. Pay online or at the door for Multi-Day Passes: $40/10-day individual pass; $75/20-day individual pass; $130/10-day family pass (max 6 w/adult in water). - Verification of online purchase must be provided to pool staff. - At-the-door purchases must be made by cash (exact amount only). Level 3 introduces rhythmic breathing and builds on the skills learned in Levels 1 and 2 to help students achieve basic water skills. Student must have passed Level 2 to participate OR meet the following prerequisites: Front kicks with rhythmic breathing Front/Back float 10 seconds Front crawl (freestyle) 7 to 10 yards Back kicks 7 to 10 yards Elementary backstroke 5 yards (with whip kick) Tread water 10 seconds Sitting dive Learning objectives Front float (can take breaths) 30 seconds Back float 1 minute Front crawl w/rhythmic breathing (freestyle) 15 yards Elementary backstroke with whip kick 15 yards Backstroke (back crawl) 10 yards Tread water 30 seconds Dolphin kick 10 yards Kneeling dive Safety skills and rescue skills

Level 1 | age 3+
Lessons

Level 1 is where water exploration meets foundational swimming skills! Primary focus is on getting students comfortable with the water, basic aquatic skills, and safe practices in and around water. It's important to note that progressing through levels is unique to each individual, and it's not uncommon for a student to take swim levels more than once. Mastery and confidence are key to a lifetime of enjoyable and safe swimming. Before diving into Level 1, participants should be proficient in the following prerequisites: Water entry/exit Jumping to adult Underwater bobs Bubbles (lips below water) Learning objectives Front/Back float Front/Back glide Front/Back kicks Front crawl Elementary backstroke Treading water
