Let's take our tennis game to the next level! We'll brave the challenge of 90 minutes of instruction on a full-sized tennis court (78 X 27 feet) using a ball that has 75% of the compression of a standard tennis ball. Practice groundstrokes, volleys, overhead strokes, serves, scoring, and court positioning. This class uses USTA Net Generation curriculum. Bring a racket, tennis shoes, and a water bottle.
Geoff Basham, a certified Tennis Professional with an extensive 25-year tenure in tennis instruction for both adults and children, is a dedicated Rogers resident whose passion for the sport is unmistakable. Over the course of 24 seasons, he has served as the Head Varsity high school tennis coach, overseeing both boys' and girls' teams. Presently, Geoff holds the position of Head Girls Tennis Coach at Rogers High School and serves as the Head Boys Coach at St Michael-Albertville High School.
