General Ledger and Month-End Procedures

Adult / Professional Development -
CE 2026 Summer

In this course, you’ll gain hands-on practice with core accounting procedures. You’ll learn how to post journal entries to the correct general ledger accounts for each transaction and ensure accuracy by preparing an unadjusted trial balance at month-end.

If the numbers don’t balance, you’ll discover how to identify and correct errors through adjusting and correcting entries, then verify accuracy with an adjusted trial balance.

You’ll also walk through the full process of performing monthly bank reconciliations to ensure your records align with your financial statements.

This course is included in the Bookkeeping Certificate course.
