Welcome to Early Childhood family education (ECFE) - Where Families Learn and Grow Together!
Screening is an early look at a child's development and begins as early as age three. The state of Minnesota requires screening for every child before kindergarten entry into a public school. ISD 728 offers this service at no cost.
Community Education's EdVenture Club offers a variety of childcare options at schools within Independent School District 728.
Our HOPE program provides events, activities and classes designed specifically for adults with developmental disabilities.

Use the space at one of our school buildings for an ultimate party experience! A convenient and easy way to celebrate! We provide the facility and general supplies, and if requested, activities and equipment.
Edv Club Summer provides Swimming Lessons for families at no additional cost!
Dive into creativity with our Sunken Treasure Fishbowl Kit! This engaging grab and go project allows young artists to build their very own underwater world. Featuring a layered wooden fishbowl design, this kit includes a shipwreck, a hidden treasure chest, and friendly sea creatures that pop off the background for a cool 3D effect. It’s the perfect afternoon activity for imaginative minds! This all-in-one kit comes fully loaded with every supply you need to complete the project from start to finish.
Kits will be available for pick-up beginning June 1st at Handke Center, 1170 Main Street, Elk River, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm. If you are unable to pick up during that time, or would prefer a Rogers pickup location, please email communityed@isd728.org to make other arrangements.
