Use the space at one of our school buildings for an ultimate party experience! A convenient and easy way to celebrate! We provide the facility and general supplies, and if requested, activities and equipment.
Create a masterful FIESTA where churros, corn tortillas, and everything to go with them will be made from scratch! Whip up some delightful churros that are crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, paired with a sweet, spicy, velvety chocolate sauce! Handcrafted corn tortillas will be topped with homemade guacamole, taco meat seasoned with homemade taco seasoning, and delicious refried beans. Your tastebuds and your family will be dancing for joy during this dinner! A tortilla press is helpful, but not required.
The registration fee covers immediate family members living in the same household only. If children are participating, adult supervision is required.
The week of class, you will receive an email with an ingredient and supply list, prep packet, and Zoom video conferencing link. A few days after the class, you will receive an additional email with the recipes used during the class.
Tess Georgakopoulos has been cooking since she was roughly six years old -- well over forty years. Born into a Greek family, the art of cooking traditional meals using one's senses rather than recipes and measurements was passed on from one generation to the next. Her father was a trained chef who brought the magic of food to life in another form as they cooked elaborate family meals together. Food prepared from the heart, with one's own hands and creativity, was, and continues to be, an expression of love in her home. As a skilled home-cook and baker, Tess enjoys creating original recipes for her family and friends. She has recently started writing her first cookbook, and has a food blog in the works.
