It can offer great relief with no side effects, from symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings, bloating, headaches, irritability, nausea, insomnia, anxiety, and even weight gain. Learn which points balance hormone levels naturally, including thyroid hormones. Acupressure is a wonderful self-help tool that will help you feel your best. Breathing techniques and nutritional musts will also be discussed during class. A few days before the class, you will receive an email with the video conference link and the instructor's handout. -
Group Hypnosis: Weight Loss or Stop Smoking
Did you know there is a way to lose weight without diet pills or starvation? Group hypnosis includes suggestions that will help you eat the type and quantity of foods that are beneficial in losing weight and maintaining your desired weight. Do you have the desire, but not the willpower, to stop smoking? People can, using guided imagery, stop smoking after just one session and often with little, if any, withdrawal symptoms or cravings. Find your way out of the smoky haze! Check in at 5:45pm. At 6:00pm, there will be an introduction for smoking and weight loss classes (all must attend). From 7:00 to 7:45pm, the weight loss class will meet (smokers, take a break). Smoking hypnosis will be from 7:50 to 8:45pm. Please bring a blanket and pillow to class. You may sit or lie down for the hypnosis part of the session. -

Benefits may include full-body relaxation and recalibration, and achieving well-being in the mind, body, and soul. Be ready to restore and heal in this receptive 60-minute session. Dress comfortably and bring a mat, water bottle, a cozy blanket, and a pillow to be able to fully experience the sound waves. -
Loving Kindness & Friendship Meditation
Adults of all ages are welcome to participate in this 2,500-year-old practice that helps us overcome self-dislike and builds proper self-love and self-acceptance. Meditation also helps us act more gently and lovingly toward others and live without fear or hatred. This practice improves good relationships and helps heal problemones. It also teaches compassion, balance in relationships, and appreciating the good fortune of others. A few days before the class, you will receive an email with the video conference link. -
Mindfulness Meditation - The Art of the Present Moment
Adults of all ages are welcome to join Mindfulness Meditation - the ancient method of self-understanding and self-management. Meditation is widely used for handling pain and stress, habit control, and dealing with painful emotions and disturbing thoughts. It leads to deep self-knowledge and self-management skills that make life richer. The content of the practice is simply our own experiences of body and mind with no ideology. It is compatible with any religious and self-development practices you do. Please wear loose clothing for comfort. The teaching is cumulative, so attendance at all classes is encouraged. Learn what resources are available in the community to assist caregivers and those struggling with addiction and come away with hope in the recovery process. During this three-part series, you will learn about addiction and how you can support others in their recovery journey and help set healthy boundaries. Week One: Unpacking Addiction: Explore what substance addiction is (and isn’t), how it develops, and its devastating ripple effects. Learn what resources are available in the community to assist caregivers and those struggling with addiction; come away with hope in the recovery process. Week Two: Supporting Others in Recovery: When someone you care about is struggling with substance addiction, it can leave you feeling like you are walking blindfolded in a minefield! Learn the do’s and don’ts of supporting someone in addiction or early recovery. Learn how to get your point across in a way that is heard and appreciated. Week Three: Setting Healthy Boundaries: Healthy relationships of all types require setting appropriate boundaries! Setting boundaries between parent and child, spouses, co-workers, neighbors, and more can be easy if you understand how and when to create them. Learn and practice creating some healthy boundaries and how to stand behind the boundaries you set.
