    “Once Upon a Time…”
That’s how every great fairytale begins. But what happens when The Storybook falls into the wrong hands? What if someone wasn’t so happy with their “happily ever after”… and decided to rewrite the ending? Instead of ruling the high seas, what if Captain Hook took up crocheting? What if Jack and Jill were too afraid to go up the hill? And what if Sleeping Beauty could no longer sleep? Poor Rip Van Winkle has been guarding The Storybook for far too long. When he finally wakes, the book has vanished—and the world of fairytales is turned upside down. Joined by his loyal companions, the Seven Dwarfs, Rip embarks on a quest to set things right. Along the way, they encounter a host of familiar characters: Snow White, Mother Goose, a crowd of cranky stepsisters, the pirates of Neverland, and the quirky residents of the Shoe Inn. Can Rip and his friends return The Storybook to its rightful place before the stories are changed forever? Or will the next tale begin with… “Twice Upon a Time?” Twice Upon a Time is Storybook Theatre’s first-ever original production! Why settle for one fairytale when you can experience them all?
