Instant Pot® Multi-Cooker 101 -- LIVE

Adult / Culinary -
2024-2025 CE School Year

Demystify the electric pressure cooker/multi-cooker called the Instant Pot® during a LIVE virtual class! Learn the foundations of cooking and care and how to make a few amazingly satisfying dishes in the Instant Pot. In addition to an Instant Pot® yogurt tutorial, Chef Tess will demonstrate breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert menu items, including Creamy Steel-Cut Oatmeal or Egg Bites, Creamy-Cheesy Tuscan Chicken with Penne, and luscious Lava Cakes or Dreamy Banana Bread. Cook along as she prepares the pasta dish, or just watch as a demonstration. You'll be able to ask questions throughout the class. Cooking along is optional but highly recommended!

An email with the ingredient list and station prep guide for the Creamy-Cheesy Tuscan Chicken with Penne dish will be sent before the class, giving you enough time for shopping and prep.

After class, you'll receive an email with the instructor's original recipes. The printable packet will also include the yogurt tutorial, information on cleaning and care, and tips and terminology that will help build Instant Pot® confidence and creativity.

As a bonus, the instructor has created a private group and a public group on Facebook for her cooking class participants. You will receive an invite to the groups, although joining is optional.

The registration fee covers immediate family members living in the same household only. If children are participating, adult supervision is required.

Tess Georgakopoulos

Tess Georgakopoulos has been cooking since she was roughly six years old -- well over forty years. Born into a Greek family, the art of cooking traditional meals using one's senses rather than recipes and measurements was passed on from one generation to the next. Her father was a trained chef who brought the magic of food to life in another form as they cooked elaborate family meals together. Food prepared from the heart, with one's own hands and creativity, was, and continues to be, an expression of love in her home. As a skilled home-cook and baker, Tess enjoys creating original recipes for her family and friends. She has recently started writing her first cookbook, and has a food blog in the works.
