Soups are the ultimate comfort food! Cook along with Chef Tess and add these two wonderful soups to your list of family favorites, along with homemade Italian Bread Bowls or Rolls. Choose one soup for your cook-along and watch a demonstration of the other, or choose to make both!
NO INSTANT POT®? NO PROBLEM! Tess will make one soup in the Instant Pot®, and the other on the stovetop using a soup pot. She'll provide step-by-step instructions for both cooking options for each soup so you can cook along using whatever appliance, cooking tools, and equipment you choose. Experience how flavors are enhanced and infused with the Instant Pot® or enjoy the simple soothing pleasures of making soups the classic way.
On the Menu: Creamy Mushroom Cheddar Soup, Velvety Loaded Potato Soup, and wonderful Homemade Italian Bread Bowls or Rolls (baked in the oven). These delicious, original, no-fail recipes created by the instructor will have your family asking for seconds!
Several days before class, you will receive an email with an ingredient and supply list, prep packet, and Zoom video conferencing link. A few days after the class, you will receive an additional email with the recipes used during the class.
The registration fee covers immediate family members living in the same household only. If children are participating, adult supervision is required.
Tess Georgakopoulos has been cooking since she was roughly six years old -- well over forty years. Born into a Greek family, the art of cooking traditional meals using one's senses rather than recipes and measurements was passed on from one generation to the next. Her father was a trained chef who brought the magic of food to life in another form as they cooked elaborate family meals together. Food prepared from the heart, with one's own hands and creativity, was, and continues to be, an expression of love in her home. As a skilled home-cook and baker, Tess enjoys creating original recipes for her family and friends. She has recently started writing her first cookbook, and has a food blog in the works.
