Do you enjoy the decadence of chocolate for dessert? Enjoy a wonderful new spin on the classic meal of Shepherd's Pie, Twice-Baked Stuffed Potatoes, and decadent Chocolate Stout Cake with a wonderful, almost “froth-like” frosting for dessert! Learn to create the instructor's delightful version of these dishes using unique ingredients that bring pops of flavor bursting with umami, added nutrition, and memorable textures. Whether you choose to make the Shepherd’s Pie version with lamb or the Cottage Pie version with beef, the results will be mouthwatering and delicious. The alcohol in the stout cake cooks off during baking, but substitution options will be provided.

Several days before class, you'll receive an email with the list of ingredients and class login details, allowing you time for shopping and preparation. After the class, you'll receive an additional email with the instructor's recipes in a professionally made printable packet.

The registration fee covers immediate family members living in the same household only. If children are participating, adult supervision is required.

Tess Georgakopoulos

Tess Georgakopoulos has been cooking since she was roughly six years old -- well over forty years. Born into a Greek family, the art of cooking traditional meals using one's senses rather than recipes and measurements was passed on from one generation to the next. Her father was a trained chef who brought the magic of food to life in another form as they cooked elaborate family meals together. Food prepared from the heart, with one's own hands and creativity, was, and continues to be, an expression of love in her home. As a skilled home-cook and baker, Tess enjoys creating original recipes for her family and friends. She has recently started writing her first cookbook, and has a food blog in the works.
