Baklava is a traditional pastry dessert known for its sweet, rich flavor and flaky texture. Join us in this hands-on interactive class where you will cook virtually with Instructor Mimi. You will learn how to prepare a flavorful but easy Baklava dessert, and bake it in your own oven following the instructor's guidance.
A few days before class, you will receive an email with the video conference link and a list of ingredients (to allow for shopping).
Mimi Selam is very passionate about cooking in general and Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine in particular. She finds cooking very relaxing and curative beyond its culinary advantages. She has a wide experience in sharing her skills in cooking, including teaching through other Community Ed programs in the Twin Cities for several years.
