Each session will focus on different aspects of culinary arts, starting with a foundational exploration of baking basics. From mastering classic recipes like chocolate chip cookies to experimenting with savory dishes and global cuisines, you'll expand your culinary knowledge and develop your cooking talents. Throughout the club, we'll emphasize teamwork, creativity, and a love for good food. You will have the chance to contribute your ideas and preferences to shape our culinary adventures. Whether you're a beginner or a budding chef, this club is designed to inspire a passion for cooking, foster creativity in the kitchen, and create memorable culinary experiences together.
Marissa Getty has been a teacher at Rogers High School since 2004, where she teaches Culinary Arts and Interior Design courses. She attained a Family and Consumer Science Degree from NDSU and a master's degree in teaching and learning from Hamline University.
