Having good project management skills is one of the fastest paths to promotion in many organizations. Go through the basics of creating a project, including a manager's responsibilities, and get an overview of salaries, certification costs, education and experience requirements. Explore the knowledge areas of project management such as time, human resources, communications, risk and procurement. Learn what a process group is, when and how to make changes, and how to close a project.
Registering for this certificate program will automatically enroll you in the three required courses: Introduction to Project Management, Project Management Knowledge Areas, and Project Management Processes.
Jermaine Dykes is a Director of Project Management with over 15 years of experience. He has worked in government, gaming, education, and finance, and currently teaches Project Management, Marketing, Information Technology, and Business Management programs. He has a BA degree in Information Technology and an MBA with Information Technology specialization.
Gail Singleton holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in International Business. She is currently a Project Engineering Manager, and has worked in aerospace, oil and gas, and chemical industries. Gal enjoys training new employees, and believes that awareness of the basic foundation of project management can assist anyone's career in any field.
