Discover the exciting world of science through hands-on experiments and creative projects. No prior experience is needed — just your curiosity! Over four days, you’ll make volcanoes erupt, build racing cars, create swirling tornadoes, and more! Each day focuses on a different field of science — chemistry, physics, weather, and engineering — giving you the chance to explore, experiment, and engage like a real mad scientist.
Please bring a nut-free snack and a beverage each day. Students registered for "Lunch Bunch" should bring a nut-free lunch and an additional beverage.
*** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. Lunches should be nut-free and should include a beverage. No resources are available for refrigeration or to heat lunches, so plan accordingly.
Parents/Guardians: Please answer "Yes" to the Lunch Bunch question when registering for the morning class. There is no charge, but we need to know who is staying with us for the hour. ***
ISD 728 Community Education Youth Program Staff are passionate about working with children. They instruct various types of classes from the arts, to babysitter safety, and basic cooking skills.
