Hack into the code of classic games! Learn Java coding skills while modifying games such as Asteroids, Tetris, Snake, and more! Beginning and experienced coders alike will enjoy this fan favorite! Java is a text-based language; you should have good keyboarding and basic computer skills. Bring a USB drive to save your games.

*** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. Lunches should be nut-free and should include a beverage. No resources are available for refrigeration or to heat lunches, so plan accordingly.
Parents/Guardians: Please answer "Yes" to the Lunch Bunch question when registering for the morning class. There is no charge, but we need to know who is staying with us for the hour. ***
Tech Academy, based in Little Canada, MN, creates exciting learning environments that specialize in project-based technology and science (STEM) education for students age 4-15. Students work together in small groups to reinforce core academic skills while learning invaluable 21st-century competencies in engineering, robotics, coding, and digital film-making.
