From a galaxy far, far away, Star Wars comes to life! Work on a stop-motion animated Star Wars short. Design out-of-this-world scenes, vehicles, starships, and props as your instructors take you through the entire digital filmmaking process from start to finish. Create a Star Wars animation short and join in other Star Wars-themed coding activities. Students should have basic reading skills. Bring a USB drive on the last day.
Please bring a nut-free snack, a water bottle, and recess attire.

*** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. Lunches should be nut-free and should include a beverage. No resources are available for refrigeration or to heat lunches, so plan accordingly.
Parents/Guardians: Please answer "Yes" to the Lunch Bunch question when registering for the morning class. There is no charge, but we need to know who is staying with us for the hour. ***

Tech Academy, based in Little Canada, MN, creates exciting learning environments that specialize in project-based technology and science (STEM) education for students age 4-15. Students work together in small groups to reinforce core academic skills while learning invaluable 21st-century competencies in engineering, robotics, coding, and digital film-making.
