Are you looking for some tennis competition? Join the Junior Team Tennis program with Coach Geoff Basham! 14U Intermediate team will practice on Thursdays, 1:00-3:00 pm, and play matches on Tuesdays. This IS NOT an introduction to match play. Being able to rally with a yellow ball and keep score are important requirements to be able to be on this team. A team must have at least 4 girls and 4 boys. Matches begin June 10 and will consist of 1 girls' singles, 1 boys' singles, 1 girls' doubles, 1 boys' doubles, and 1 mixed doubles (a player can only play a maximum of 2 positions per team match).
Away matches will require transportation for each player. Transportation is not provided.
PLAYERS MUST BE AT LEAST 11 YEARS OF AGE OR TURN 11 BEFORE THE END OF JULY. PLAYERS MUST NOT TURN 15 BEFORE THE END OF JULY.
Teams will not meet the week of July 4.

Geoff Basham, a certified Tennis Professional with an extensive 25-year tenure in tennis instruction for both adults and children, is a dedicated Rogers resident whose passion for the sport is unmistakable. Over the course of 24 seasons, he has served as the Head Varsity high school tennis coach, overseeing both boys' and girls' teams. Presently, Geoff holds the position of Head Girls Tennis Coach at Rogers High School and serves as the Head Boys Coach at St Michael-Albertville High School.
