Edv Club Summer provides Swimming Lessons for families at no additional cost!
You must attend all 4 days of EdVenture Club-Summer to participate in our Summer swimming lessons.
Swimming lessons are only available for the levels listed below. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Check the level carefully; if your child is signed up for the wrong level, he/she may not be able to participate. For example; a kindergartner or first grader seldom have the prerequisites required to register for level 4/5. Every effort will be made to switch levels if space is available; however, lessons are usually full, and it may not be possible to switch levels.

Swim Lesson Descriptions
Level 1: Intro to Water Skills
Is primarily focused on getting students comfortable with the water, basic aquatic skills and safe practices in and around water. We will focus on bobs, front and back floats, front and back glides, kicks, front crawl, elementary backstroke arms, and treading water.
Student must have passed Little swimmers OR meet the following prerequisites:
Level 2: Fundamental Aquatic Skills
The focus of this Level 2 swim class is horizontal motion. When swimmers put their faces in the water willingly, we can start teaching motion. We will focus on front and back float, front crawl, elementary backstroke, treading water, and sitting dives.Student must have passed Level 1 to participate OR meet the following prerequisites:

Level 3: Stroke Development
Level 3 introduces rhythmic breathing and builds on the skills learned in Levels 1 and 2 to help students achieve basic water skills.
Student must have passed Level 2 OR meet the following Prerequisites:
Level 4/5: Stroke Improvement
Level 4/5 is a skill-based class focusing on helping participants refine and improve proficiency in all six swimming strokes, and builds on endurance.
