Pickleball is an exciting sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. DASH Sports Summer Pickleball Camp provides an introductory experience to the game in a fun and positive atmosphere. Learn and practice serving, returning, volleys, overheads, and lobbing, emphasizing technique and game play. We'll play games on the final day of camp.
Please wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle and snack. Campers also should bring a pickleball paddle (if you don’t have one, we will provide paddles). Balls and all other equipment are provided.
*** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. Lunches should be nut-free and should include a beverage. No resources are available for refrigeration or to heat lunches, so plan accordingly.
Parents/Guardians: Please answer "Yes" to the Lunch Bunch question when registering for the morning class. There is no charge, but we need to know who is staying with us for the hour. ***
DASH Sports is dedicated to the development and training of youth in sports and partners with Community Education to offer a range of programs tailored for children aged 2 to 14. Their overarching goal is to provide communities and families with organized, structured, and enjoyable skill-focused sports initiatives for kids. The leadership of DASH Sports comprises individuals deeply passionate about youth sports development, boasting an impressive cumulative coaching experience exceeding 20,000 hours.
