Set the stage and prepare to dazzle! In this beginner-level magic class, you will explore the core principles of magic, including performance techniques and the art of misdirection. Learn tricks using card magic, money magic, sleight-of-hand techniques, and the ethical guidelines of magic. Throughout the course, you will practice your skills and prepare to showcase your newly learned tricks in a final magic performance.
Please bring a nut-free snack and a beverage each day. Students registered for "Lunch Bunch" should bring a nut-free lunch and an additional beverage.
*** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. Lunches should be nut-free and should include a beverage. No resources are available for refrigeration or to heat lunches, so plan accordingly.
Parents/Guardians: Please answer "Yes" to the Lunch Bunch question when registering for the morning class. There is no charge, but we need to know who is staying with us for the hour. ***
