Blast off for a thrilling, out-of-this-world adventure! Your mission is stuck on a newly discovered planet, and now you must figure out how to return to Earth! Solve exciting STEAM challenges such as building a rover, designing an extension arm, and creating a light-up constellation map. Once you’ve collected all the clues, launch your very own rocket! Explore space like never before in this action-packed camp. While you'll solve fun clues, please note this is not a mall-like escape room experience. Ready for lift-off?
Please pack a nut-free snack and a beverage for your child. Students registered for "Lunch Bunch" should bring a nut-free lunch and an additional beverage.
*** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. Lunches should be nut-free and should include a beverage. No resources are available for refrigeration or to heat lunches, so plan accordingly.
Parents/Guardians: Please answer "Yes" to the Lunch Bunch question when registering for the morning class. There is no charge, but we need to know who is staying with us for the hour. ***
Technological literacy is becoming as important as knowing how to read and write. TechTacToe presents high quality, kid-friendly classes that motivate and excite young minds about technology, computers and science. Classes and projects engage children in conceptualization and design, ultimately building life-skills such as problem solving, logic, and creativity. Programs are tailored to their abilities, using video game programming and other fun computer-based programs.
