Stand-up paddleboarding is like a cross between surfing and canoeing. This class is for the adventurous young paddler. We focus on safety, fun, and fitness on the water. You must be comfortable in the water, able to understand and follow directions, and able to swim. No prior paddleboarding experience is required. All equipment is provided.
When you arrive at the lake, park in the beach parking lot and meet the instructor at the boat launch. No lifeguard will be on duty.
Melissa owns and operates a Stand Up Paddle Board business. She has been teaching SUP PaddleFit classes for ISD 728 Community Education since 2015.
