Learn how to write powerful SQL queries to retrieve data from single or multiple tables within a database. In this course, you’ll gain the skills to extract more meaningful insights by combining data across tables, merging columns, creating calculated fields, and organizing results using sorting and grouping techniques. You’ll also explore how to use joins and subqueries to efficiently pull data from multiple sources in a single query.

Students should have a foundational understanding of introductory SQL concepts.

Requirements:

- Windows 10 or later. Macs are not compatible.
- Necessary rights (local administrative rights) to install programs on the computer.

This course is included in the SQL Certificate course.

Dr. Cecelia Allison is a course developer, published author, technical writer, and an online professor with more than 20 years of hands-on experience using and teaching SQL. She has taught over 90,000 students SQL worldwide.

Through her past employment as a technical specialist, software tester, and teaching SQL, she has gained extensive experience in writing and implementing SQL. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, a Master of Science in Information Systems, and a Doctor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems.
