Juggling and Object Manipulation Workshop | age 10+

Youth | preK-grade 12 / Performing Arts -
2025-2026 CE School Year

Part 1: Letting Go In this section, students will learn the basics of toss juggling using one to three objects, as well as explore tricks using a single ball. Together, the class will examine the curious question: What is a “trick”? Students will collaborate in groups to create juggling sequences, develop original tricks, and share their discoveries with others.

Part 2: Balance as Action This part of the class introduces students to the fundamentals of actively balancing one or more objects. They will explore the question: How does balance relate to a “trick”? By the end of the session, students will create and present an expressive piece that shares what you discover.

Note: Wear closed toed shoes and comfortable clothes you can move around in.
