We will begin with a consistent, foolproof dough that can be prepared weeks in advance. Stromboli filled with chicken, broccoli, sun-dried tomatoes and herb cheese with a zesty sauce for dipping. Pizza components may include, and are not limited to, BBQ chicken, basil pesto, margarita, ham and pineapple, reuben, taco, buffalo chicken, BLT, pastrami and swiss, chicken club, puttanesca, cheeseburger, chicken caesar, and sausage and pepperoni. In addition, you’ll learn the art of pasta preparation featuring “Spaghetti Napolitana”, with olive oil, ripe roma tomatoes, basil, garlic, and fresh grated cheeses. We'll finish with "Zuppa Inglese", layers of citrus soaked pound cake, rich Italian custard, chocolate ganache and sweet cherry preserves. 

This class includes both demonstration and hands-on instruction. Many food items are prepared by the chef in advance. 

This class is in partnership with Osseo Community Education. Please note that it is held at Osseo Middle School.

Jeff Sandino

Founder of "Flavors from the Home," Jeff's love of food began at the Lincoln Deli. He received formal training at L'Hotel Sofitel in Bloomington, MN and Houston, TX. His professional career spans over 40 years, and has taken him to such spots as Buca Di Beppo, Figlio, Sunsets on the Bay, My Pie Pizza, and the Sunshine Factory. Jeff has appeared on several cooking shows demonstrating his culinary wizardry; his passion is teaching and demystifying the process of gourmet cooking.
