Estate Settlement 101: Not a Time for On-The-Job-Training

Adult / Finance -
2025-2026 CE School Year

After the passing of a loved one, the successor trustee or representative of an estate has an important, yet often confusing and frustrating, responsibility. All estates must be “settled,” but few people know how or where to begin. When an estate is not settled correctly, or in a timely manner, there can be serious consequences -- for both the executor and the beneficiaries. Who undertakes these important tasks? What exactly should they do -- and when? Where must all of this work take place -- and why? Understand the Who, What, When, Where, Why (and How) of estate settlement.
This 90-minute workshop includes a Q&A session.
