Welcome to Early Childhood family education (ECFE) - Where Families Learn and Grow Together!
Screening is an early look at a child's development and begins as early as age three. The state of Minnesota requires screening for every child before kindergarten entry into a public school. ISD 728 offers this service at no cost.
Community Education's EdVenture Club offers a variety of childcare options at schools within Independent School District 728.

Can you escape before time runs out? Step into daring scenarios–like a hijacked plane, an underground cave, or a locked playroom–without ever leaving the classroom! Using imagination, teamwork, and hands-on engineering, campers will build straw rockets, parachutes, catapults, flashlights, and code robots to solve puzzles and beat the clock. Each day, they'll uncover the secrets behind escape rooms, then design their own epic challenges. By the final day, teams test each other with original escape rooms full of clever traps, twists, and brain-bending puzzles. Adventure and engineering collide all in one classroom!
Please bring a nut-free snack and a beverage each day. Students who are registered for "Lunch Bunch" should bring a nut-free lunch and an additional beverage.
*** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. Lunches should be nut-free and should include a beverage. No resources are available for refrigeration or to heat lunches, so plan accordingly. Parents/Guardians: Please answer "Yes" to the Lunch Bunch question when registering for the morning class. There is no charge, but we need to know who is staying with us for the hour. ***
