Welcome to Early Childhood family education (ECFE) - Where Families Learn and Grow Together!
Screening is an early look at a child's development and begins as early as age three. The state of Minnesota requires screening for every child before kindergarten entry into a public school. ISD 728 offers this service at no cost.
Community Education's EdVenture Club offers a variety of childcare options at schools within Independent School District 728.
Our HOPE program provides events, activities and classes designed specifically for adults with developmental disabilities.
On-site childcare for children of program participants.

Use the space at one of our school buildings for an ultimate party experience! A convenient and easy way to celebrate! We provide the facility and general supplies, and if requested, activities and equipment.

Step into Smash Factory: Build & Wreck, where creativity meets chaos! Young engineers will design mini wrecking balls, catapults, slingshots, and wrecking cars, then test their creations in a safe, hands-on way. Through building, breaking, and problem-solving, campers explore teamwork, the Engineering Design Process, and the thrill of seeing their ideas in action. Hard hats on, goggles ready; let’s build, wreck, and discover the fun of engineering!
Please bring a nut-free snack and a beverage each day. Students who are registered for "Lunch Bunch" should bring a nut-free lunch and an additional beverage.
*** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. Lunches should be nut-free and should include a beverage. No resources are available for refrigeration or to heat lunches, so plan accordingly.
Parents/Guardians: Please answer "Yes" to the Lunch Bunch question when registering for the morning class. There is no charge, but we need to know who is staying with us for the hour. ***
