Welcome to Early Childhood family education (ECFE) - Where Families Learn and Grow Together!
Screening is an early look at a child's development and begins as early as age three. The state of Minnesota requires screening for every child before kindergarten entry into a public school. ISD 728 offers this service at no cost.
Community Education's EdVenture Club offers a variety of childcare options at schools within Independent School District 728.
Our HOPE program provides events, activities and classes designed specifically for adults with developmental disabilities.

Use the space at one of our school buildings for an ultimate party experience! A convenient and easy way to celebrate! We provide the facility and general supplies, and if requested, activities and equipment.

It's time to lace up and leave your mark! The 7th and 8th grade Track and Field team is back. Students from both Salk and Vandenberge middle school will get to represent their schools with pride as they compete with other schools around our area. Whether you are a seasoned runner or looking to try the sport for the first time, there is something for everyone in this comprehensive athletic experience. The schedule includes a minimum of 2 meets with transportation provided for away meets. Meets are weather-permitting and may or may not be rescheduled. Practices are Monday-Thursday, 3:30-5:00 pm, April 6th through May 14th. Practices will be at the Elk River High School Stadium and Vandenberge practice fields. All students must be picked up at the Elk River High School Stadium by 5:00 pm.
Meets will be with other schools in our area. Dates will be announced as soon as information is available. Athletes will receive a uniform shirt but must provide their own shorts and shoes. Athletes should also bring their own water bottle for practice. Team t-shirt cost is included in the registration fee. Transportation is provided to and from meet sites for athletes. Athletes will need to arrange for transportation home from Elk River High School following the meets.
