Research shows that many men and women often bring different learning styles, communication preferences, and motivational drivers to the workplace. While performance and productivity are equal, understanding common communication patterns and strengths can help teams work more effectively together.

In this class, explore how communication styles may differ, what motivates employees across a range of perspectives, and how to adapt your approach to support collaboration and job satisfaction. Participants will walk away with 15 practical, easy-to-apply tips for communicating more effectively and motivating both male and female employees and colleagues—helping create a more productive, respectful, and high-performing workplace for everyone.

William Draves

William A. Draves did his graduate work in education, with an emphasis on adult education, from The George Washington University in Washington DC.

Draves has taught for over thirty years, including teaching at the graduate level. His books include "How to Teach Adults," the most popular book ever written on the subject, and "Energizing the Learning Environment."

He has been interviewed by Wired.com, The New York Times, NPR, NBC Nightly News, Washington Post, Virtual University News, Chronicle of Higher Education and other national media.
