Welcome to Early Childhood family education (ECFE) - Where Families Learn and Grow Together!
Screening is an early look at a child's development and begins as early as age three. The state of Minnesota requires screening for every child before kindergarten entry into a public school. ISD 728 offers this service at no cost.
Community Education's EdVenture Club offers a variety of childcare options at schools within Independent School District 728.
Our HOPE program provides events, activities and classes designed specifically for adults with developmental disabilities.

Use the space at one of our school buildings for an ultimate party experience! A convenient and easy way to celebrate! We provide the facility and general supplies, and if requested, activities and equipment.
Edv Club Summer provides Swimming Lessons for families at no additional cost!
Bring a little sunshine into your home with our Grab-and-Go Rainbow Craft Kit! This beginner-friendly project features a custom-cut wooden cloud base and five nesting rainbow arches that fit together for a beautiful 3D effect. Perfect for kids' rooms, nurseries, or a cozy bookshelf—this kit includes everything you need. Just open the box and start creating your own masterpiece!
Kits will be available for pick-up beginning June 1st at Handke Center, 1170 Main Street, Elk River, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm. If you are unable to pick up during that time, or would prefer a Rogers pickup location, please email communityed@isd728.org to make other arrangements.
