Blast from the Past Diner Dinner Meal

Travel back in time and reminisce about the days when Saturdays meant a trip to the local diner for a treat that you had been waiting for all week! Join Tess and discover how to recreate a diner dinner that will have you giggling remembering days gone by. On the menu is a gourmet-level hot hamburger steak with homemade umami bomb gravy, served over homemade bread made from scratch. Finish off the meal with a spectacular apple strudel.

The registration fee covers immediate family members living in the same household only. If children are participating, adult supervision is required.

The week of class, you will receive an email with an ingredient and supply list, prep packet, and Zoom video conferencing link. A few days after the class, you will receive an additional email with the recipes used during the class.

Tess Georgakopoulos

Tess Georgakopoulos has been cooking since she was roughly six years old -- well over forty years. Born into a Greek family, the art of cooking traditional meals using one's senses rather than recipes and measurements was passed on from one generation to the next. Her father was a trained chef who brought the magic of food to life in another form as they cooked elaborate family meals together. Food prepared from the heart, with one's own hands and creativity, was, and continues to be, an expression of love in her home. As a skilled home-cook and baker, Tess enjoys creating original recipes for her family and friends. She has recently started writing her first cookbook, and has a food blog in the works.
