Is your student interested in joining the Youth in Government organization? Would you like to learn more about the program and the Youth in Government Conference? Join us for this information night to learn more! Youth in Government is an experience like no other. Program participants will develop an understanding of Minnesota's system of government and how to effectively use their voice to take action on issues that matter to them. Participants will work together during the school year to prepare materials for their program areas, listen to speakers, and practice their presentation skills. In January, students will experience a fun and immersive four-day event where students from around the state will come together to explore ideas, meet new friends, find a place where they belong, and leave inspired to take action that makes a difference in their communities.
