  • Boho Chunky Knit Pillow | grades 5-8

    In this beginner-friendly class, craft a pillow using the popular finger-knitting technique. Choose your favorite color, match your room decor, or show your school spirit! The finished round pillow will be approximately 11x6 inches. All materials are included. Please select a color at registration. Parents/Guardians: Please send permission to school informing staff that your student will be staying after for a Community Education activity. Students will be supervised in the cafeteria until class starts. Pick-Up: All students must be picked up immediately following the class.

    Create a cute bumble bee friend using the popular finger-knitting technique! This class is beginner-friendly with step-by-step instructions for any level. The finished bee is approximately 12x6 inches but may vary with each participant. All materials are included.   • College Application Workshop Series | grade 12

    It’s college application season, and many high school seniors have deadlines looming before November 1. This workshop series is designed to help you navigate the complex college application process, focusing on understanding different application systems, managing deadlines, and crafting compelling applications. Whether you use Common App or institutional applications, dedicated time and expert guidance will ensure less stress and more success in the college application cycle. Please bring a laptop or iPad to each session, along with login information to any institution from which you have taken classes or exams (high school, college, AP, ACT, etc.).
  • Middle School Spanish Prep: A Foundation Course! | grades 6-8

    In this engaging LIVE virtual eight-week class, you will learn essential fundamentals to build a strong base in the Spanish language. Get a jump start preparing for future middle school or even traditional high-school Spanish classes. Numbers, alphabet and pronunciations, days of the week, family members, and school vocabulary are just a few of the topics covered! Practice common questions and answers for carrying on small conversations and sentence structure. Lessons are dynamic with interactive activities and visuals, along with cultural lessons. Open to new and previous middle school students. Online portal resources and practice tools included. A few days before the start of class, you will receive an email with the video conference link.

    This workshop is designed for college-bound students and their parents who are concerned about the rising cost of tuition and are seeking effective strategies to reduce these expenses. From scholarships to dual enrollment, we will explore common and lesser-known methods for reducing college costs. The workshop aims to provide practical advice and dispel common myths, helping families plan for the transition to post-secondary education with confidence.
  • Youth in Government Information Night

    Is your student interested in joining the Youth in Government organization? Would you like to learn more about the program and the Youth in Government Conference? Join us for this information night to learn more! Youth in Government is an experience like no other. Program participants will develop an understanding of Minnesota's system of government and how to effectively use their voice to take action on issues that matter to them. Participants will work together during the school year to prepare materials for their program areas, listen to speakers, and practice their presentation skills. In January, students will experience a fun and immersive four-day event where students from around the state will come together to explore ideas, meet new friends, find a place where they belong, and leave inspired to take action that makes a difference in their communities.
