Community Education's EdVenture Club offers childcare at ISD 728 schools for: Inclement Weather Care - Closed for Registration Non-School Days - Closed for Registration Discovery Learning Preschool Wrap-Around Care - Closed for Registration To be eligible to attend this program, your child MUST be toilet-trained and be enrolled in the Discovery Learning Preschool program for the 2024-2025 or attending a Discovery Learning Preschool class through the Early Childhood Special Education program. An added benefit to attending EdVenture Club–Summer is for your student to receive swim lessons at no additional cost! Students must be scheduled for childcare on all 4 days to be eligible to attend swimming lessons. Session days are Monday-Thursday for 1 week. Transportation from childcare sites to the VandenBerge pool is provided by EdVenture Club-Summer. Limited space is available. Because Rogers Elementary will not be available for EdVenture Club Summer we will be offering 2 weeks of Summer Swim at Hassan (Week 1 and Week 2). The first week will be allotted for Hassan registrations and the second week is intended to be allotted for students who would normally attend Rogers Elem. Week One: 6/9: Hassan - group one Week Two: 6/16: Hassan - group two Week Three: 6/23: Otsego Week Four: 6/30: No Swim (Field Trip week and 4th of July) Week Five: 7/7: Prairie View Week Six: 7/14: Meadowvale Week Seven: 7/21: Parker Week Eight: 7/28: Twin Lakes Week Nine: 8/4: Zimmerman Week Ten-Twelve: No Swim

Community Education welcomes persons of all abilities to participate in any of the activities we offer! Contact us at least one week in advance if assistance is needed. This includes sign language interpretation.

Program Participant Childcare is on-site childcare for the children of participants enrolled in Adult Basic Education English as a Second Language Parent/Child Days for Discovery Learning Preschool Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes at the Handke Center. $3/time block NOTE: Enrollment for Sibling care during the THUR Parent/Child Day at the Handke Center has reached its maximum and registration has been closed to NEW enrollments. Please complete your registration to be added to a waiting list. You will be contacted as space becomes available. We appreciate your understanding as we focus on the needs of our program and the safety and security of the children in our care. Program Participant Childcare takes place during class time and parents must remain on-site throughout care. This childcare is supervised by staff specifically trained in Early Childhood and School Age best practices.
