EdVenture Club-Inclement Weather Care EdVenture Club-Inclement Weather Care is offered from 6:30 am-6:00 pm at Hassan, Parker and Zimmerman Elementary Schools on days school is canceled due to inclement weather. Registration Opens July 7th @ 8 AM Registration Fee $123 for the first child; $109 for each additional child. Registration fee is due at time of registration. Registration Information and Policies: To be eligible to attend, families must pre-register and pre-pay for 3 days of Inclement Weather Care. On days school is canceled due to inclement weather, your child may be dropped of at their registered site any time after 6:30 am and picked up by 6:00 pm. If you have pre-registered for the Inclement Weather Care, but decide NOT to use care on a snow day, you will NOT be refunded your registration fee. If you have pre-registered for Inclement Weather Care and there are fewer than 3 snow days during the school year, your account will be refunded after May for the days not used. If there are more than 3 snow days during the school year, you will have the opportunity to register for additional days. Children need to bring a lunch and beverage on Inclement Weather Days. A morning and afternoon snack and beverage will be provided. If school across the state is canceled by the Governor, EdVenture Club-Inclement Weather Care will be closed. If the Superintendent of ISD #728 Schools decides to cancel EdVenture Club-Inclement Weather Care due to dangerous weather and/or road condition, EdVenture Club will close for the safety of the children and staff. If the Governor or Superintendent closures apply, the day will not count as one of the billed Inclement Weather days. Notifications School cancellations and EdVenture Club-Inclement Weather Care program alerts will be included in the District weather notifications, on the EdVenture Club Facebook page and on the Community Education Website Main Page in the @CE728ALERT Twitter feed. An added benefit to attending EdVenture Club–Summer is for your student to receive swim lessons at no additional cost! Students must be scheduled for childcare on all 4 days to be eligible to attend swimming lessons. Session days are Monday-Thursday for 1 week. Transportation from childcare sites to the VandenBerge pool is provided by EdVenture Club-Summer. Limited space is available. Because Rogers Elementary will not be available for EdVenture Club Summer we will be offering 2 weeks of Summer Swim at Hassan (Week 1 and Week 2). The first week will be allotted for Hassan registrations and the second week is intended to be allotted for students who would normally attend Rogers Elem. Week One: 6/9: Hassan - group one Week Two: 6/16: Hassan - group two Week Three: 6/23: Otsego Week Four: 6/30: No Swim (Field Trip week and 4th of July) Week Five: 7/7: Prairie View Week Six: 7/14: Meadowvale Week Seven: 7/21: Parker Week Eight: 7/28: Twin Lakes Week Nine: 8/4: Zimmerman Week Ten-Twelve: No Swim
