    RC Car Racing | age 8+

    Get ready to race! In this high-speed RC Car Racing course, kids and teens (ages 8 and up) will learn how to race RC cars, and will compete with them on a track. From mastering tricky turns, to epic jumps, it's all about fun, strategy, and friendly competition. Zoom into action and leave the others in your dust! You may use the RC cars provided or bring your own (instructor's approval needed).
  • RC Robotics: Racing Dragsters | grades 1-5

    This camp is perfect if you love extraordinary cars and thrilling race action! Explore the world of robotics using LEGO®'s Systems. Build cars and dragsters with motors and sensors to explore the environment. Work as a team to explore robotics and learn about the programming process. Each day, you will explore a different car model. On the last day, take what you have learned and create your own car to compete in a racing tournament. Please bring a nut-free snack, a water bottle, and recess attire. Please note: This class has an early registration deadline of July 16. *** Registering for a morning and an afternoon class at the same location? Join the "Lunch Bunch!" Community Education will provide a supervised hour between classes for you to enjoy the lunch you brought from home, then will get you to your afternoon class. Lunches should be nut-free and should include a beverage. No resources are available for refrigeration or to heat lunches, so plan accordingly. Parents/Guardians: Please answer "Yes" to the Lunch Bunch question when registering for the morning class. There is no charge, but we need to know who is staying with us for the hour. ***
