Join us for a hands-on culinary adventure as we create a menu of traditional Italian favorites! Begin with a classic panzanella—crusty toasted bread tossed with fresh summer vegetables in a light vinaigrette. Next, create the celebrated chicken saltimbocca, using thinly sliced prosciutto and fresh sage, finished with a lemon caper butter sauce and served alongside golden pan-fried artichokes. You’ll also learn to make pillowy potato gnocchi from scratch, tossed with a medley delectable sauces including fresh basil pesto, zesty marinara, and rich brown butter with sage. To end on a sweet note, prepare crisp cannoli filled with a sweetened, creamy ricotta and mascarpone cheese filling, served over warm chocolate sauce and garnished with pistachios. You’ll have fun cooking, tasting, and laughing your way through an unforgettable Italian feast!

This class is offered in collaboration with Osseo Community Education. Please note that it will be held at Osseo Middle School.

Founder of "Flavors from the Home," Jeff's love of food began at the Lincoln Deli. He received formal training at L'Hotel Sofitel in Bloomington, MN and Houston, TX. His professional career spans over 40 years, and has taken him to such spots as Buca Di Beppo, Figlio, Sunsets on the Bay, My Pie Pizza, and the Sunshine Factory. Jeff has appeared on several cooking shows demonstrating his culinary wizardry; his passion is teaching and demystifying the process of gourmet cooking.
