ISD 728 Community Education

The Rogers Middle School Jazz Ensemble is an exciting performance-based course designed for students looking to explore the fundamentals of jazz. Students will develop their skills in improvisation, swing, blues, and Latin styles while learning essential jazz techniques such as phrasing, articulation, and ensemble playing. Through rehearsals and performances, students will gain confidence in their musical abilities and deepen their appreciation for jazz history and its influential artists. Open to students with prior experience on a band instrument, this ensemble provides a fun and supportive environment to grow as musicians and performers.
