    Do you want to amaze your friends and impress your opponents? Increase your IQ while having fun playing chess and competing for prizes! Learn from Twin Cities Chess Club instructors who have years of teaching experience. Competitive chess tournaments are scheduled once a year and students can play for real chess trophies! All chess levels are welcome.

Learn essential skills such as measuring ingredients, mixing methods, and cooking temperatures while preparing a variety of delicious dishes. Each session will focus on different aspects of culinary arts, starting with a foundational exploration of baking basics. From mastering classic recipes like chocolate chip cookies to experimenting with savory dishes and global cuisines, you'll expand your culinary knowledge and develop your cooking talents. Throughout the club, we'll emphasize teamwork, creativity, and a love for good food. You will have the chance to contribute your ideas and preferences to shape our culinary adventures. Whether you're a beginner or a budding chef, this club is designed to inspire a passion for cooking, foster creativity in the kitchen, and create memorable culinary experiences together.
  • Festive Treats & Crafts | grades K-4

    Join this festive seasonal class series where you'll create themed treats and crafts! Dive into the spirit of each holiday as we craft thankful decorations and celebrate with sparkling New Year's creations. Each session promises fun, creativity, and a chance to explore the unique traditions of these special holidays. Come along for a delightful journey through the seasons of celebration!   • Horseback Riding Day Camp | grades K-12

    Learn what it's like to have a horse for a day! You'll get to ride in the indoor and/or outdoor arenas for 40-50 minutes (no trails), practice how to steer, stop, turn, and walk on your own. You might also make horse treats, create a craft project, or play games. And don't forget the time to feed and care for the horses, which is a big part of ownership! You'll be grouped with other campers based on similar riding experience. Proper attire includes close-toed shoes (no flip-flops!), long pants, and layers depending on weather. Bring sunscreen, a hat, bug spray, water bottle, a nut-free bag lunch, and snacks. You can also bring treats for the horses if you want. ASTM/SEI certified helmets provided. Camps are held rain or shine. Please complete and submit the online Boulder Pointe Camp Waiver Form found here.
  • Monster Mash | grades K-5

    Welcome to Monster Mash, the spooktacular class where you'll embark on a journey of Halloween fun and creativity! We'll have a thrilling time as we play Halloween bingo for exciting prizes, decorate rice krispy treats, pin the spider on the web, and paint miniature pumpkins. Every ghoul and goblin is welcome to join in on the fun! Parents/Guardians: Please send permission to school informing staff that your student will be staying after for a Community Education activity. Westwood students attending an afterschool class at Zimmerman Elementary also need to call the Westwood attendance office 24 hours in advance of the class with this information. Transportation: Westwood students will take the EdVenture Club bus from Westwood to Zimmerman Elementary; they will check in at the Zimmerman Elementary EdVenture Club site. Pick-up: All students will be picked up from EdVenture Club immediately following class. NOTE - without a written note sent with your student, the school might not allow him/her to stay after and might send them home via their regular routine.
  • My Little Horse Camp | age 2-5 w/parent

    Campers will get to ride a real horse, meet and learn about the different horses at Boulder Pointe, and learn how to groom the horses -- all with a focus on safety! In addition, campers will create an art project and have an opportunity to make horse treats to feed their new four-legged friends! Stations are split into 15-minute intervals. Class fee includes parent and child, and parent/guardian is expected to remain with their camper during the entire duration of the camp. Proper attire includes sneakers or boots (closed toe and heel), long pants and layers depending on weather. Bring a water bottle. ASTM/SEI certified helmets provided. Camps are held rain or shine, as the facility has an indoor barn and arena. Please complete and submit the online Boulder Pointe Camp Waiver Form found here.
  • Stink, Stank, Stunk | grades K-3

    Your heart will grow three sizes in this fun class! We'll make a Grinch hat, some delicious sherbet Grinch punch, and play some Grinch-themed games. Nothing stinky, stanky, or stunky here -- just fun with your friends.
  • Wobble 'Till You Gobble | grades K-5

    Grab your friends for a fun afterschool activity full of all things turkey and competition! Dressed in a festive mask, you'll be wobbling (participating) 'till you're gobbling (laughing) through these hilarious minute-to-win-it games. Parents/Guardians: Please send permission to school informing staff that your student will be staying after for a Community Education activity. Students will check in with EdVenture Club after school. Westwood students will check in at the cafeteria. NOTE - without a written note sent with your student, the school might not allow them to stay after and may send them home via their regular routine. Pick-Up: All students will be picked up immediately following class from EdVenture Club; Westwood students will be picked up from the cafeteria.

    Welcome to World Kindness Celebration, where spreading joy and compassion is the name of the game! Join us for an uplifting class where you'll decorate hats to showcase your kindness spirit, craft heartfelt kindness cards to share with others, and paint beautiful kindness rocks to spread positivity around your neighborhood. Make the world a brighter place, one act of kindness at a time!
